A huge well done to everyone who completed the 10K, half marathon or marathon at Morecambe on Sunday 20 September 2026. Whatever distance you took on, crossing that finish line was something to celebrate.
We joined Lancaster Race Series for its Morecambe Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K, and it was a great day for MOTRA. Three distances, a seaside setting and a chance to be part of the running community: we were delighted to be there.
Bringing the MOTRA setup to Morecambe
We brought our full setup, music and plenty of good energy. We wanted to add to the atmosphere and make the MOTRA stand a welcoming part of the day, with something to enjoy alongside the racing.
For us, getting out to events like this is a chance to share in the effort that goes into a race day. The training, the commitment and the decision to take on a challenge all deserve recognition. Being there to celebrate that with runners is a part of MOTRA we love.
A big thank you to TENZING
TENZING was MOTRA’s primary partner for the event and supplied drinks for us to share on the day. We had three flavours on offer: Peach & Honey Melon, Raspberry & Yuzu, and Pineapple & Passionfruit.

The cans went down an absolute treat. They were a hit with the people who tried them, and having that choice of flavours was a lovely addition to our setup.
A big thank you to the TENZING team for partnering with us and helping make it such an enjoyable day.

Tokens, prizes and VÅGA caps
We also ran a competition on the day, giving people the chance to win $MOT tokens and prizes, including running caps from VÅGA, who partnered with us for the event.
The competition added another bit of fun to the MOTRA setup, alongside the music and drinks. Thank you to VÅGA for supporting us with the caps, and to everyone who took part.

Thank you, Morecambe
We left with a lot of appreciation for everyone who made the day happen. Thank you to Lancaster Race Series for organising the event, to TENZING and VÅGA for their support, and to everyone who joined us at the MOTRA stand.
Most of all, congratulations again to the 10K, half marathon and marathon finishers. We had a brilliant time being part of the day and look forward to more opportunities to celebrate the running community together.
