Weekly Dev Update - It’s November?!
Nov 5, 2025
This week was a good one for progress.
We’ve added Personal Records to the prototype app. Covering running, cycling, and a few Effort Point (EP) based records too. It’s a small feature, but one that helps make your training data feel more alive and helps you keep track of your best efforts.
Me and Martin have also booked onto a local run club. It’s not really something we have been to much before and there’s a good chance we’ll start hosting or co-hosting run club events soon, so we thought we better go and see how others do it. Run clubs could help us test prototypes, get real user feedback, and also make for some great marketing.
On the content side, I’ve finally started filming a new YouTube video. I’ve been stuck for a while on what to post, but I’ve decided to lean into a more casual, follow-along style, a mix of training, lifestyle, and the founder journey. I am hoping our die hard fans might want to see what we get up to everyday, Tim Monte youtube channel is the place to find it.
Our pitch deck is also shaping up nicely. The goal is to have it ready for investors very soon.
Overall, the app’s functionality feels solid right now. We’re happy with where it’s at, just need to tighten up visuals and UI design before alpha testing begins.
If you want to help us test early builds, join the waitlist at motraapp.com.
