Weekly Dev Update - Funding Plan

This week we started real conversations with investors. It seems like a good time to let you all in on our plans.

Plan A - Raise a pre-seed round of investment. This will allow us to move faster, make some hires, finish the app quicker, and get it live sooner. Once the app is live, we presale the tokens to push MOTRA further.

Plan B - Bootstrap all the way. Ship the app first, then presale the tokens to fund growth. It works, but it’s slower. That’s why it’s not the preferred route right now, but it stays on the table depending on how investor talks go.

We’ve also been planning our beta launch programme. We’re planning run club events, getting the app into people’s hands, and building momentum around shared effort. Spent some time this week figuring out exactly what we would need, and some finer details on how to make it happen.

On the product side, the beta feature set is basically locked. What’s left is UI polish and refinement. Once that’s done, we’re ready to roll.
